Area Attractions

County Clare offers endless opportunities to explore Ireland. Whether you tour some of the historic sites or take in the view from the Cliffs of Moher, you can always find interesting ways to spend time in and around Doonbeg.

In addition to the sights and activities listed here, a great way to spend a day is taking a drive and visiting the quaint villages that dot the countryside. Stroll the streets, stop in at a pub, and take in the local flavor. Visit the shops, where you’ll certainly find something “Irish” to bring home, from linen and Donegal tweed to crystal and ceramics. Then stop for a bite to eat, being sure to order one of Ireland’s specialties such as Irish stew, salmon, or fresh oysters with a pint of Guinness. And don’t forget to start the day with a “full Irish breakfast,” which consists of bacon, sausages, black pudding, eggs, tomatoes, and brown bread.

Our Club concierge is happy to make suggestions and arrange activities to ensure that your visit to Doonbeg is an unforgettable one.
