PRESS RELEASE

The Lodge at Doonbeg Golf Club Joins Virtuoso

April 2, 2008

Doonbeg, County Clare, Ireland – The Lodge at Doonbeg Golf Club has been invited to join Virtuoso, the leading luxury travel network. The Lodge is one of only two properties in County Clare, Ireland to join Virtuoso's prestigious Hotels & Resorts Program as a preferred supplier. There are approximately 750 properties around the world represented by Virtuoso.

Located only 45 minutes from Shannon on Ireland's stunning southwest coast, Doonbeg is considered Ireland's new premier destination, combining luxury with links golf. Doonbeg offers an internationally renowned Greg Norman-designed golf course along County Clare's Doughmore Bay, as well as quietly spectacular accommodations, fine dining, and the White Horses Spa. The superior amenities, combined with picturesque location and impeccable service, provide Doonbeg guests the ultimate travel experience.

"The Lodge at Doonbeg Golf Club now joins a rich tradition of celebrating the world's best properties, and Virtuoso is pleased to welcome them into our Program," says Albert Herrera, Vice President of Virtuoso's Hotels & Resorts Program. "Between their world-class golf, White Horses Spa and Tom Colicchio-inspired restaurant, Doonbeg offers the level of sophistication that appeals to our clientele while providing them with exceptional service. Their residences in particular offer a unique way to enjoy this special property and provide the perfect opportunity for travelers to visit Doonbeg."

Joe Russell, General Manager for Doonbeg Golf Club, commented, "The entire team and I are very pleased and proud that the Club is a Virtuoso network preferred supplier. Our goal has always been to provide members and guests with an unequalled level of hospitality, facilities and surroundings. Being invited to join Virtuoso is affirmation of the great effort the Doonbeg team puts forth on a daily basis."

The Lodge at Doonbeg Golf Club – Ireland's Most Luxurious Links

Doonbeg Golf Club is anchored by the Lodge, a stunning manor-style house that appears to be centuries old. Wooden beams, traditional fireplaces, classic mantelpieces, and antique furniture create a warm welcome. Accommodations, all of high standard, include suites in the Lodge, as well as Garden House Suites abutting the Main Lodge. Additionally, the Norman Suites and Courtyard Suites all have the feel of country cottages, and are completed by adjoining gardens. The larger and more private Links Cottages are a short distance from the Lodge. All Doonbeg accommodations are Member-owned residences with one to four bedrooms, made available for guest use. Each accommodation is designed for luxury and utmost convenience.

The Lodge offers memorable fine dining experiences, masterminded by renowned chef Tom Colicchio. Diners in the Long Room enjoy quiet refinement, with views of breaking Atlantic waves; yet close by is the boisterous Irish camaraderie of Darby's Pub.

The natural environment of the County Clare coastline provides inspiration for the White Horses Spa and its rejuvenating treatments. Spa offerings also include an array of salon and fitness options.

The golf course, a must-play stop, is just turning six. Greg Norman has designed high-profile courses worldwide, but Doonbeg may be his greatest achievement. The site runs through 100-foot sand dunes along a mile and a half of uninterrupted coastline. The traditional out-and-back routing hugs the bay, and the view from the first tee is straight across the water to the ninth green.

Since inception, Doonbeg golf, accommodations and dining have been repeatedly recognized as superior. Recognition includes: 2007 International Property Awards Four-Star Award in Golf Development; 2006 and 2007 Golf Course of the Year Awards from the Ireland Golf Tour Operators Association; Golf Monthly's list of Top 50 Courses; Elite Traveler's 2007 "Great Eight" list; Links 2006 list of "World's Best Golf Vacations. Receiving the invitation to join the Virtuoso Network is one of the most recent and most valued achievements for Doonbeg.
