The Lodge Suites     The Lodge Suites are situated on a part of the ground floor and encompass all of the first and second floors (i.e., above the ground floor) of the Lodge structure. Locker Rooms and the Spa are on the basement level. Features include: •  Heavily-waxed stone floors, at the entry vestibule, brought to a rich patina •  Wood flooring mellowed to a deep, rich honey color in the living rooms •  Large, casement windows framing views in every direction •  Tweedy, plush carpet in each bedroom •  Skim coat plaster walls •  Powder room, in many suites, with stone floors and beautiful fittings and details •  Elegant, simple mouldings •  Wooden fireplace surrounds or mantels, designed by Norman Askins, in the spirit of Ireland's past, for cozy hours of reading •  Gas fireplaces in living room •  Custom-designed SieMatic (or equal) "galley kitchens" equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and stone countertops and backsplashes •  Wiring for satellite/cable TV in the living rooms and each bedroom •  Luxuriously outfitted bathrooms featuring stone floors, honed marble slab, shower seats, marble and glass shower walls, English fittings, rainshower nozzles (with high pressure pumps for all Suites to guarantee invigorating showers after a day on the links!), and heated towel racks •  Separate heating and air conditioning controls serving each Suite
