I just wanted to drop you a quick email to express my thanks to you and all the staff at Doonbeg for what was a seriously relaxing stay. Daniela and I had such a fantastic time, I only wish we could have stayed for longer.
A special thanks must go to the Long Room staff, especially the Maitre'd, the waiting staff and the chef. Our dinner was delicious and our new found dietary requirements were really well looked after. So thank you for passing on those details.
Daniela loved our room and the entire hotel and was sad to have to leave, this morning she said she wished we were still at Doonbeg! I think it's safe to say we'll be coming back in the near future and bringing friends and family with us. Hopefully I'll get a round of golf in as the course looked superb.
Thanks again and Daniela and I can't wait to return.

I just could not let this day pass without sending you this mail. Nineteen work colleagues spent the weekend in Doonbeg and the facilities; both accommodation and golfing were superb, just as expected.
However, it was the highest level of service and guest relations displayed by all the staff that blew us away and has me typing right now. I can assure you that as a group and individually we have experienced some wonderful golf resorts and hotels around the world and yours is right up there for service.
Unfortunately yesterday, twelve of us had to abandon out golf due to hailstones but we look forward to returning soon.
I only hope you pass on our sincere thanks to your respective staff for a wonderful weekend.

I had the pleasure of staying at Doonbeg in early August. I would like to
congratulate you and your staff on providing an excellent experience. The
golf course is outstanding and proved to be a different course each of the
four times I played it. I thought the 1st hole was the nicest starting
hole I've every seen, and of course, #14 (I almost got a hole in one), I
used everything from a SW to a 5 Iron...unbelievable. The attention to
detail given by your golf staff and caddies was over the top. We played at
Ballybunion, Tralee and Waterville and I must let you know your staff is
superior and much more professional.
I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of Doonbeg and can't wait to come back. I
am hoping the weather might be a little dryer next time.
I managed inside operations for a large golf complex for 23 years and I
understand the importance of outstanding customer service.
I hope I get the opportunity to meet you on my next visit.

Just a quick note to compliment you on the fantastic product that is The Lodge at Doonbeg and say thank you to all concerned for a wonderful experience.
I was on sales calls in London with Cormac a couple of weeks ago and at that time I mentioned to him that my favourite and most memorable hotel experience to date was the Ritz Carlton in Bahrain. That was most definitely true before my visit to Doonbeg.
Firstly, t he location is beyond stunning, and the sympathetic approach that has been taken to ensure that the development compliments its backdrop is highly admirable. The decor throughout is simply beautiful and the food exceptional.
Most importantly, I cannot compliment your team highly enough. Unfortunately I cannot recall all the names but from Cormac's initial encouragement to visit, Keith and Sophie's warm welcome, Marie's fantastic site inspection, Kevin's care of us in the restaurant and Aric's in the bar, Brian's encouragement to take to the golf course, Shane and Laura's relaxation skills in the spa and finally Mike and Seamus, who sent us on our way. Collectively, the ir professionalism, and genuine eagerness to help and engage in conversation is refreshing. I have no doubt that it is this relaxed approach that has created an atmosphere which also encourages guests to interact freely. I can only equate it to spending a weekend with friends!
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending The Lodge at Doonbeg to any of my clients and I wish you all the very best of luck for the future. So thank you once again for a spectacular experience and congratulations to you all on what you have achieved.
